Crescent Ballroom is a live-music venue and kitchen in downtown Phoenix, Arizona, housed in a 1917 former garage on North 2nd Avenue. Opened in 2011, it pairs a mid-sized concert room with an in-house kitchen and bar. Tank and the Bangas formed in 2011 in New Orleans, out of an open mic called Liberation Lounge at the now-closed Blackstar Cafe and Books in Algiers.
