The Usher Hall is a Category A listed concert hall in the West End of Edinburgh, Scotland, opened in 1914 and seating around 2,200 in its domed auditorium. Owned by the City of Edinburgh Council, it has staged concerts for over a century, hosted the 1972 Eurovision Song Contest, and remains a leading venue for classical and popular music. Shed Seven are an English alternative rock band formed in York in 1990 around singer Rick Witter, bassist Tom Gladwin and drummer Alan Leach.
