The Usher Hall is a Category A listed concert hall in the West End of Edinburgh, Scotland, opened in 1914 and seating around 2,200 in its domed auditorium. Owned by the City of Edinburgh Council, it has staged concerts for over a century, hosted the 1972 Eurovision Song Contest, and remains a leading venue for classical and popular music. The Holiday – Film with Live Orchestra is a live-to-picture concert event in which Hans Zimmer's score for the 2006 Nancy Meyers romantic comedy is performed by a full orchestra while the complete film is screened in HD.
