Hell is one of three stages at The Masquerade, Atlanta's long-running mid-sized concert venue, now tucked into Kenny's Alley on the lowest level of Underground Atlanta. The venue opened in 1989 at the century-old DuPre Excelsior Mill and built a reputation across punk, alternative and electronic music. Its rooms are named for the afterlife's destinations, with Altar added in 2024. Icon for Hire are an American rock band from Decatur, Illinois, formed in 2007 and now reduced to the core of singer Ariel Bloomer and lead guitarist Shawn Jump.
