A live music venue in a former movie theatre on South Main Street in Downtown Los Angeles — the oldest theatre building left on that street. It opened as the National Theatre in 1914, ran second-run programmes through the 1920s as the district declined, later became a grindhouse and then an adult cinema, and shut in 2000. Renovation brought it back as a concert venue in 2014. Ezra Collective are a British jazz quintet — Femi Koleoso on drums and leading, TJ Koleoso on bass, Joe Armon-Jones on keyboards, Ife Ogunjobi on trumpet and James Mollison on tenor saxophone — who met at the jazz youth programme Tomorrow's Warriors and formed soon afterwards.
