The Wiltern Theatre occupies the base of the Pellissier Building, a 12-storey Art Deco landmark set diagonally to the corner of Wilshire Boulevard and Western Avenue in Los Angeles and clad in blue-green glazed terracotta. The complex is considered one of the finest examples of Art Deco architecture in the United States. The building is privately owned; the theatre is operated by Live Nation. L7 were founded in Los Angeles in 1985, were active until 2001 and re-formed in 2014; Suzi Gardner, Donita Sparks and Dee Plakas make up the current line-up.
