A historic Denver concert venue on Glenarm Place, just off the city's well-known 16th Street Mall. Seating 1,870, it draws large touring acts looking for a more intimate room than an arena affords. The building, sometimes spelled Paramount Theater, was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, and remains a favourite mid-size stage. Dweezil Zappa is an American rock guitarist and the son of Frank Zappa, and he was around the music industry from the start: he learned directly from guitarists including Steve Vai and Eddie Van Halen, and released his first single — produced by Van Halen — at the age of 12.
