The Paramount is a concert and comedy venue at 370 New York Avenue in Huntington, on Long Island, a five to seven minute taxi ride from the Long Island Rail Road's Huntington station. Below the room is the Founder's Room, a members-only speakeasy; next door are Ella's, the venue's restaurant, and Spotlight, a bar with live music of its own. Dweezil Zappa is an American rock guitarist and the son of Frank Zappa, and he was around the music industry from the start: he learned directly from guitarists including Steve Vai and Eddie Van Halen, and released his first single — produced by Van Halen — at the age of 12.
