Big Head Todd & the Monsters

Big Head Todd & the Monsters were formed in Colorado in 1986 by Todd Park Mohr, Brian Nevin and Rob Squires, who had attended Columbine High School together and reconvened at the University of Colorado — their first gig was a college party there. They spent years working the bars and clubs of Denver, Fort Collins and Boulder and then the Mountain States and West Coast in a van dubbed The Colonel, covering more than 400,000 miles. They founded their own label, Big Records, for Another Mayberry in 1989. Sister Sweetly, produced by David Z for Giant Records, went platinum in 1993 and spawned "Bittersweet", "Broken Hearted Savior" and "Circle".
