The Uptown Theater is a historic theater at 3700 Broadway in Kansas City, Missouri, added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979 and used today as a concert and events venue. Big Head Todd & the Monsters were formed in Colorado in 1986 by Todd Park Mohr, Brian Nevin and Rob Squires, who had attended Columbine High School together and reconvened at the University of Colorado — their first gig was a college party there.
