A storied concert venue at the corner of Queen and Spadina in downtown Toronto, in operation since 1947. Known to locals as The Horseshoe or The 'Shoe', it's a significant part of Canadian musical lore, immortalised in the memories of thousands of concertgoers and in books such as Have Not Been the Same. Warren Zeiders was studying business at Frostburg State University in Maryland when he began recording and posting covers on TikTok; "Ride the Lightning" has since passed 500 million views there.
