A storied concert venue at the corner of Queen and Spadina in downtown Toronto, in operation since 1947. Known to locals as The Horseshoe or The 'Shoe', it's a significant part of Canadian musical lore, immortalised in the memories of thousands of concertgoers and in books such as Have Not Been the Same. Hovvdy are the Austin duo of Charlie Martin and Will Taylor, whose soft-focus 'pillowcore' has grown into some of indie's warmest songwriting.
