Warren Zeiders was studying business at Frostburg State University in Maryland when he began recording and posting covers on TikTok; "Ride the Lightning" has since passed 500 million views there. His debut album, Acoustic Covers, came in August 2021, with covers of Tyler Childers, Afroman and Lynyrd Skynyrd and a deluxe edition featuring Craig Campbell on "Outskirts of Heaven". He signed with Warner Records in 2022 and re-released "Ride the Lightning", which debuted at number 30 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and was certified platinum in the United States and Canada. Two EPs became the album 717 Tapes the Album; "Pretty Little Poison" gave him a first country radio number one in 2023, and Relapse followed in 2024.
