Nottingham's purpose-built modern venue, opened in 2018 — live music, comedy and spoken word by night, Nottingham Trent University's music students by day. The Skids were a Scottish punk and new-wave band formed in Dunfermline in 1977, fronted by Richard Jobson and featuring guitarist Stuart Adamson (later of Big Country), best known for the 1979 single 'Into the Valley.'
