Die Boer is a restaurant-teater at 6 Chenoweth Street in Durbanville, Cape Town, which puts a show on its stage almost every night of the week — 64 dates are on sale between mid-September and 19 December 2026 alone. The bill leans two ways at once: Afrikaans music, with Koos Kombuis, Francois van Coke, Nádine and Dozi all booked, and stand-up comedy from the likes of Conrad Koch and Timothy Kieswetter, with blues, folk, reggae, gospel and the occasional tribute act in between. Bookings are taken by phone during office hours or by email. The Richard Pryor Band is a South African blues-rock outfit led by Cape Town guitarist Richard Pryor, who studied jazz at the University of Cape Town and founded the Blues Meets Rock festival.
