Downtown Atlanta's major arena, opened in 1999 as Philips Arena and home of the NBA's Hawks — the city's big-ticket indoor stop for touring superstars. Tame Impala is the psychedelic music project of the Australian singer and multi-instrumentalist Kevin Parker, who writes, records, performs and produces the music in the recording studio and takes it on the road with a full live band.
