A nightclub and concert venue at 125 East 11th Street in the East Village, Manhattan, and one of New York's most historically significant event halls — built in 1886 as a hall for hire and recognised as the first modern nightclub. The current incarnation opened in 1992 with a capacity of 1,400. The city's Landmarks Preservation Commission designated the building on 18 March 2008. Shakey Graves was born Alejandro Rose-Garcia on 4 June 1987 and is an American musician and actor from Austin, Texas, whose music combines blues, folk, country and rock and roll.
