Tipitina's is a New Orleans music club at the corner of Napoleon Avenue and Tchoupitoulas Street in Uptown, opened on 14 January 1977 and named after the Professor Longhair song "Tipitina". Longhair performed there until his death in 1980, and the club — bought by members of the band Galactic in 2018 — remains a landmark of the city's rhythm-and-blues tradition. Shakey Graves was born Alejandro Rose-Garcia on 4 June 1987 and is an American musician and actor from Austin, Texas, whose music combines blues, folk, country and rock and roll.
