Shakey Graves was born Alejandro Rose-Garcia on 4 June 1987 and is an American musician and actor from Austin, Texas, whose music combines blues, folk, country and rock and roll. The name is an accident he decided to keep: at Old Settler's Music Festival in 2007 a stranger rambled the words "spooky wagons", and he and his friends spent the rest of the night jokingly giving each other guide names round a campfire. He has appeared, as has his wife Stephanie Hunt, in the television series Friday Night Lights.
