A music venue on Euclid Avenue in the Little Five Points area of Atlanta, programming rock, indie, electronic, funk, country, folk, bluegrass, jazz, blues and world music. The building went up in 1940 as the Euclid Theatre, one of three cinemas built in Atlanta that year by Lucas and Jenkins Theatres, and opened on 4 October 1940 with My Favorite Wife. It closed as a cinema in 1962 and stood unused for two decades before the Little Five Points Partnership bought it in the early 1980s. Russian Circles are an American instrumental post-metal band based in Chicago, formed by childhood friends Mike Sullivan and Dave Turncrantz after their earlier projects dissolved.
