The Powerstation is a music venue in Eden Terrace, Auckland, and one of the few small live rooms of its kind left in New Zealand. The building has housed music venues in various forms since the 1950s. Public Image Ltd is John Lydon's post-Sex Pistols vehicle, whose dub-scarred Metal Box invented post-punk's future in 1979.
