An Eden Terrace stalwart whose building has housed Auckland music rooms since the 1950s — one of the few small venues New Zealand has left, and one of its best. Public Image Ltd is John Lydon's post-Sex Pistols vehicle, whose dub-scarred Metal Box invented post-punk's future in 1979.
