The Boiler Shop is a live music and entertainment venue in Newcastle upon Tyne, housed in the former offices and workshops of the Robert Stephenson and Company locomotive works dating from 1823. The Grade II* listed building reopened in its current form as a music venue. Nik Kershaw is an English singer-songwriter whose Wouldn't It Be Good and The Riddle made him one of the biggest British pop stars of 1984-85.
