The Basement East is a live-music venue in the East Nashville neighbourhood of Nashville, Tennessee, the larger sibling of the original Basement club and nicknamed 'The Beast'. Destroyed by the tornado that struck Nashville in March 2020, it was rebuilt on its Woodland Street site and continues to showcase touring and local acts. Michigander is an American rock band created in Kalamazoo, Michigan, in 2014 — really the solo project of Jason Singer, its vocalist, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist frontman, joined by touring musicians Jake LeMond on guitar, Aaron Senor on drums and Connor Robertson on bass.
