A multi-purpose arena in downtown Kansas City, Missouri, at 14th Street and Grand Boulevard on the east side of the Power & Light District. It seats over 19,000 and has 72 suites, and has effectively become the city's primary indoor arena in place of Kemper Arena. Designed by a team including Populous and Ellerbe Becket, it was completed in October 2007 at a cost of $276 million and opened as the Sprint Center. Connected to its north side is the College Basketball Experience. MercyMe are an American contemporary Christian band formed in Edmond, Oklahoma, in 1994, fronted by vocalist Bart Millard alongside Michael Scheuchzer, Robby Shaffer, Nathan Cochran and Barry Graul.
