MercyMe

MercyMe are an American contemporary Christian band formed in Edmond, Oklahoma, in 1994, fronted by vocalist Bart Millard alongside Michael Scheuchzer, Robby Shaffer, Nathan Cochran and Barry Graul. They crossed into the mainstream with the 2001 single "I Can Only Imagine," whose parent album was certified triple platinum, and have since charted a long run of Christian radio number ones. The band has won eight Dove Awards and two American Music Awards and earned multiple Grammy nominations, with the 2017 song "Even If" also reaching triple-platinum status. Across a dozen studio albums, six have been certified gold. Constant on the road, MercyMe headline their own tours and co-bill with peers such as TobyMac and Matthew West, cementing a reputation as one of the genre's most durable live draws.
