It doubles as an indoor market, and its long-running place in Camden's music scene makes it one of the neighbourhood's enduring grassroots gig rooms. Man/Woman/Chainsaw started with Billy Ward and Vera Leppänen making music together at fourteen, at school, and settled into its six-piece shape in 2023 — two guitars, piano, bass, drums and Clio Starwood on violin, which is the part that gives the London band its edge.
