A Manchester institution named for the stage once bolted halfway up its wall — jazz, punk and world music have run through it since the 1930s. Haute and Freddy are an American alternative pop duo based in Los Angeles: vocalist Michelle Buzz, originally from Houston, and percussionist Lance Shipp, originally from Detroit.
