A Manchester institution named for the stage once bolted halfway up its wall — jazz, punk and world music have run through it since the 1930s. EXTC is a British band formed in 2017 by Terry Chambers, the original drummer of the celebrated new-wave group XTC, who played on their albums from 'White Music' (1978) through 'Mummer' (1983).
