The Aztec Theatre is a 1,477-capacity historic theatre at 104 North St Mary's Street in downtown San Antonio, Texas, opened in 1926 as a Mesoamerican-themed movie palace. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places and now operated by Live Nation, it hosts concerts, comedy and live events beneath a three-ton chandelier. Arch Enemy is a Swedish melodic death metal band formed in Halmstad in 1995, originally as a supergroup — its members had played in Carcass, Armageddon, Carnage, Mercyful Fate, Spiritual Beggars, The Agonist, Nevermore, Eucharist and Once Human.
