The Aztec Theatre is a 1,477-capacity historic theatre at 104 North St Mary's Street in downtown San Antonio, Texas, opened in 1926 as a Mesoamerican-themed movie palace. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places and now operated by Live Nation, it hosts concerts, comedy and live events beneath a three-ton chandelier. Skillet are an American rock band formed in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1996, fronted by John Cooper, who plays bass and sings alongside keyboardist Korey Cooper, drummer Jen Ledger and guitarist Seth Morrison.
