The Lemonheads are an American alternative rock band formed in Boston in 1986 by Evan Dando, Ben Deily and Jesse Peretz, who started the band as teenagers at the Commonwealth School; Dando has remained its only constant member. After punk-influenced releases on Taang! Records in the late 1980s, the band reached a mass audience in 1992 with the major label album It's a Shame About Ray, followed by a cover of Simon and Garfunkel's "Mrs. Robinson" that became one of their most successful singles. Come on Feel the Lemonheads (1993) brought "Into Your Arms", their highest charting UK hit to date. The Lemonheads went on hiatus in 1997, reformed with a new lineup in 2005, and released their latest album, Love Chant, in October 2025.
