O2 Academy Oxford is a live music venue and nightclub at 190 Cowley Road in Oxford, England, run by the Academy Music Group. Trading under earlier names including the Zodiac and Carling Academy Oxford, it is a regular stop for touring bands. The Lemonheads are an alternative-rock band from Boston, Massachusetts, formed in 1986 and built around singer-songwriter Evan Dando, best known for the 1992 album It's a Shame About Ray and their hit cover of Simon & Garfunkel's 'Mrs. Robinson.'
