Nation of Language is an American synth-pop band formed in Brooklyn, New York in 2016, led by vocalist Ian Devaney with Aidan Noell on synthesizers. Drawing openly on Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode and other new-wave forebears, the group broke through with its 2020 debut Introduction, Presence.
