About
Death From Above 1979 is a Canadian dance-punk duo from Toronto, formed in 2001 by drummer-vocalist Sebastien Grainger and bassist Jesse F. Keeler. Their abrasive bass-and-drums assault broke through on the 2004 album You're a Woman, I'm a Machine.
