Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre stands at 2800 Cobb Galleria Parkway in the Cumberland/Galleria edge city of northwest Atlanta, on the east corner of Akers Mill Road overlooking I-75. The 145 million dollar building, designed by Smallwood, Reynolds, Stewart, Stewart & Associates, held its grand opening on 15 September 2007 with a concert by Michael Feinstein and Linda Eder, and is owned and operated by the Cobb-Marietta Coliseum & Exhibit Hall Authority. At its core is the 2,750-seat John A.
