The room
The Feesterrein (festival grounds) is the beating heart of Aardklop, the national Afrikaans arts festival that has taken over the university town of Potchefstroom every spring since 1998. For festival week the grounds host the Terreinverhoog (grounds stage) and the market, food and beer-garden life between shows, while theatre, comedy and concert programmes run in halls across town. A grounds day-ticket covers the Terreinverhoog music line-up.

29 September to 3 October 2026 in Potchefstroom, with the wider festival programme running through to 4 October. The feesterrein on the banks of the Mooirivier is open 09:00 to 20:00 each day, and the terreinkroeg stays open until 23:00.
How much is a ticket to the Aardklop feesterrein?
