A multi-purpose arena in the Heartside district of Grand Rapids, Michigan, seating 10,834 for ice hockey and up to 13,184 for concerts, which makes it the largest arena in West Michigan and the fourth-largest in the state. It opened on 8 October 1996 after a $78 million build and is named for its largest benefactors, Jay and Betty Van Andel. It is home to the Grand Rapids Griffins, the Grand Rapids Gold and the Grand Rapids Rise. Zac Brown Band are a Georgia country-rock institution with three Grammys and a run of number ones from Chicken Fried to Colder Weather.
