A 1928 movie palace at Flatbush and DeKalb that put on jazz, blues and early rock and roll, closed in 1962, and spent the next six decades as Long Island University's basketball court. Restoration began in 2017 and it reopened as a venue in 2024. Yebba is an American singer and songwriter from West Memphis, Arkansas, who first drew attention online before her backing vocal on Chance the Rapper's SNL performance of Same Drugs in 2016.
