A 200-acre green space on the south bank of the Thames at Battersea, in the London Borough of Wandsworth, opposite Chelsea. Opened in 1858 on marshland reclaimed from the river and former market gardens, the Grade II*-listed park is a spacious riverside setting for open-air events and festivals. Wet Leg are an English indie-rock band from the Isle of Wight, founded in 2019 by Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers, who met at music college.
