Spark Arena is Auckland's main indoor arena, at 42-80 Mahuhu Crescent in Quay Park on the eastern edge of the CBD, a 10-15 minute walk from Britomart station. It opened on 24 March 2007 as Vector Arena, was named Auckland City Arena while it was being built, and took its present name in 2017. It is run by Quay Park Arena Management. UB40 are an English reggae band formed in Birmingham in December 1978 and named after the attendance card issued to people claiming unemployment benefits from the UK government.
