A theatre in Downtown Los Angeles that opened in 1926, ran as a playhouse and briefly as a movie theatre, and closed in 1950. After decades of other uses the building was renovated and reopened as a music venue called The Belasco in 2011; Live Nation has operated it since 2020. Tomahawk are an alt-metal supergroup fronted by Faith No More's Mike Patton with members of the Jesus Lizard and Helmet, trading in cinematic, unsettling rock.
