A historic downtown Portland, Maine theater at the corner of Congress and High Streets, blending Moorish and Art Deco architecture. Reborn as a 1,870-seat performing-arts venue in 2010, it's now one of the city's key stops for touring bands and live performances. Third Eye Blind formed in San Francisco in 1993, and after years of line-up changes the songwriting pair of Stephan Jenkins and Kevin Cadogan signed the band's first major-label deal, with Elektra Records, in 1996.
