A nightclub and concert venue at 125 East 11th Street in the East Village, Manhattan, and one of New York's most historically significant event halls — built in 1886 as a hall for hire and recognised as the first modern nightclub. The current incarnation opened in 1992 with a capacity of 1,400. The city's Landmarks Preservation Commission designated the building on 18 March 2008. The Wrecks are an American pop rock band based in Los Angeles, California, currently made up of Nick Anderson, Nick "Schmizz" Schmidt, Aaron Kelley and Billy Nally.
