Times Square is an open-air event space in central Newcastle upon Tyne, England, next to the Centre for Life science village. During the summer it hosts the outdoor 'Live at Times Square' concert series, bringing touring bands to the city-centre plaza. The Wombats are an English indie-rock band formed in Liverpool in 2003, comprising Matthew Murphy, Tord Øverland Knudsen and Dan Haggis.
