A medieval castle and Victorian Gothic Revival mansion in the centre of Cardiff, used for outdoor concerts. The original motte-and-bailey was raised in the late 11th century by Norman invaders on top of a 3rd-century Roman fort, and rebuilding in stone — a shell keep and substantial defensive walls — began in the 12th century. The Streets is Mike Skinner's Birmingham-born garage-rap project, whose Original Pirate Material and A Grand Don't Come for Free narrated British life like nothing before them.
