A 200-acre green space on the south bank of the Thames at Battersea, in the London Borough of Wandsworth, opposite Chelsea. Opened in 1858 on marshland reclaimed from the river and former market gardens, the Grade II*-listed park is a spacious riverside setting for open-air events and festivals. The Streets is Mike Skinner's Birmingham-born garage-rap project, whose Original Pirate Material and A Grand Don't Come for Free narrated British life like nothing before them.
