Chalk is a live music venue on Pool Valley in central Brighton, England, a short walk from the seafront. Billed as one of the city's leading music venues, it hosts touring and emerging bands alongside regular club nights. The Rasmus formed in Helsinki in 1994, while the members were still in upper comprehensive school.
