The Hallenstadion is Switzerland's largest indoor arena, an 11,200-capacity multi-purpose venue in the Oerlikon district of northern Zürich. Opened in 1939 and extensively renovated in 2004–05, it is the country's leading stage for major touring concerts. The Pussycat Dolls began in Los Angeles in 1995 as a neo-burlesque troupe founded by the choreographer Robin Antin.
