Portsmouth Guildhall is a neo-classical civic hall on Guildhall Square in Portsmouth, England, opened in 1890 and rebuilt after wartime bomb damage in the 1950s, whose main auditorium holds up to 2,500 people. Run by the Guildhall Trust charity, it is one of the south coast's leading stops for touring music and comedy. The Proclaimers are Scottish twins Craig and Charlie Reid, whose I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles) became one of the most beloved singalongs ever written.
