The Basement East is a live-music venue in the East Nashville neighbourhood of Nashville, Tennessee, the larger sibling of the original Basement club and nicknamed 'The Beast'. Destroyed by the tornado that struck Nashville in March 2020, it was rebuilt on its Woodland Street site and continues to showcase touring and local acts. the olllam is a Transatlantic collective whose name derives from the old Irish for a grand master of a skill, marrying instrumental virtuosity, Irish tradition and Detroit's post-rock psych-sensibility in genre-defying compositions lush with cyclical, trance-like melodies.
